Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how GrooveNotes ("we", "us", or "our"), developed by Infiniti Engineering, Inc., handles information when you use the GrooveNotes application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

Music Collection Data. The App stores your vinyl record inventory, listening sessions, concert history, reviews, and related data. This data is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced via Apple's CloudKit to your other devices. We do not have access to your iCloud-synced data.

Community Listening Notes. If you choose to share listening notes with the community, those notes (along with your chosen username and a stable identifier) are stored in our cloud database so they can be displayed to other users. You can delete your community notes at any time from within the App.

AI Feature Data. When you use AI-powered features (such as album lookups, concert lookups, or the music chat), text you submit is sent to third-party AI service providers (e.g., Google Gemini) for processing. We do not store the content of these requests beyond what is needed to deliver the response.

Photos and Videos. If you add photos or videos to concerts, these are stored locally on your device and synced via iCloud. They are never uploaded to our servers or shared with other users.
